After months of being offline due to some files misconfiguration and pure laziness to do anything about it, mckk8286.com is back online. We're back with a new look, but there's still a lot more we could do to make this site thrive again. Would we have the time to do all the things that we need to do? I don't know. I somehow sense that it's doable. Otherwise I wouldn't have bothered to re-configure this site to go back online.

So, here's a list of things that need to get done:

1. Upgrade the forum to the latest version.

2. Loosely integrate the forum with the rest of the site.

Our beloved BM teacher, Cikgu Razak, or fondly known as Jak Pang, passed away a couple of days ago due to kidney problem. I believe his body was laid to rest at his hometown in Pahang.

Received an SMS from Iwe this morning:

"Alhamdulillah, Ida selamat melahirkan baby girl pukul 11.57 malam tadi - ifuan."

The funny thing was, I didn't even realized that Ida was pregnant. ;)

Feeling really happy for Iwe and Ida. They waited so many years for their first baby. And now in just a short time, they have another one to add to the family.

For those who have tried calling me on 019, I have now changed my mobile number to 017-333 1710. I switched to MAXIS because it's the only one providing GPRS, EDGE and 3G.

Mat Daque just SMSed me looking for Kalu's number as he will be in Penang this evening. I don't have Kalu's, but I passed him Man Huron's number hoping that would lead to Kalu.

I'll be in Singapore from April 23-26. I have something for CK from Rose. Hope to see Noreez as well on the 23rd kalau sempat.

Dear Arietans,

Khairi Omar informed me this morning that he has lost his three year old son yesterday, 24 March 2006, after fighting leukaemia for one year.

His body will be laid to rest this morning in Batang Kali. Jalud, representing Arietans, is attending the funeral.

To those who wish to send condolences, you may contact Khairi at 017-247 8119. Let's show our support while our brother Khairi goes through this difficult period of his life.

I knew that our very own Kichi was involved in the highly acclaimed MCOBA Royal Gala stage production, but I had no idea what his role was until I discovered this picture.

He definitely has talent and the look. :) Way to go, Kich!

Now that Chech will be in Bukit Kiara in the next six month, I'm looking to move closer to my work place.

Had a look in The Star Classifieds this morning for a room to let, and I found one in Bangsar which is within my budget.

Hope to check out the place tomorrow, and if it's OK, I might just move to Bangsar temporarily.

I'm looking forward to less traffic jams. Heck, I could just spend 20 minutes to walk to the office every morning and get to lose some weight too. Hmmm, that would be a double whamy. :)

Noni Kapet reported on the efforts being planned to help prepare the Koleq debating teams for the 2006 season.

And So It Begins ... (again) - The coaches for koleq's debating teams are meeting tonight to mark the start of the next debating season - with planning for the camping workshop and preparation timetable for 2006.

We're really glad that you guys are putting a lot of voluntary work to uphold our debating heritage. I remember during PPM in the late '80s, several old boys came and showed their support and that meant a lot to us.

We wish you and the team all the best, and we hope we could spare some time also to lend our support.
