Somone dug up an old HTF thread discussing a 2002 article by a music critic. the original site is gone now, but the article has been archived and makes for great reading.

obviously you'll agree with some and vehemently disagree with others. either way, its a great read.

i'll say ouch to some of their choices, although it does seem like these people have some unresolved issue with their mom, dad, sister, girlfriend, boyfriend, ex-fiance, ex-fiancee, pastor, former crush, etc; and are wearing it quite boldly on their collective sleeve (shirt sleeve, althought album sleeve pun boleh kot).
oh well, what was it about one man's meat being another man's poison, or something like that?
